The Influence of Size Effect to Deformation Mechanism of C5131 Bronze Structures of Negative Poisson’s Ratio

3D auxetic structures, which present negative Poisson’s ratio in the uniaxial compression deformation, is an ideal artificial material for meta-implants because of its lightweight, good property and suitable porosity bone recovery compared with conventional meta-biomaterials. Selective laser melting (SLM) commonly used to produce metallic structures but limited by temperature reflect rate material, micro assembled (MA) alternative manufacturing process. However, influence size effect difference constitutive model structure produced SLM MA have not been discussed. In tandem this, mechanical comparison conducted a structural surface layer proposed. The result indicated that both can achieve effect. It found decrease when increasing factor structure, more obvious Young’s modulus relatively small.
